A MESSAGE FROM PARADE BAND FOUNDATION PRESIDENT JASON PAGUIO

As Chula Vista moves forward with one of the nation’s most exciting waterfront developments, the Parade Band Foundation is proud to present its 6th annual event as the “Chula Vista Bayfront Band Review & Festival” with support from the Port of San Diego, County of San Diego and the Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce.

Please join bands from throughout California in honoring military veterans who helped preserve the many freedoms Americans enjoy.

Parades bring communities together, inspiring youth and celebrating the spirit of America. Parades are traditions deeply rooted in the history of our great country; celebrating national holidays and inaugurations of leaders. When men and women returned home from defending our nation, military bands welcomed them with the some of the same music performed here today to celebrate their triumphs and honor their losses.

A parade's marching bands are powerful displays of individuals coming together to make beautiful music. They march in time and in unison. A parade without bands is a celebration without a soundtrack.

The Parade Band Foundation is dedicated to preserving a grand American tradition--one has had us tapping our feet and clapping our hands to the music of marching bands. The Foundation is committed to ensuring that bands will continue marching, bringing people together with a rousing ovation and recognition for bands and their band members.
